It is very common for the other states, Interstate Bus Terminal (ISBT) and luxury buses operated by state transport authority itself. But in Odisha this service is almost non-existence.
This was my 1st suggestion to CMO Odisha on 16th March 2016, on twitter I got reply from CMO also. Later on 7th May 2017, OSRTC (Odisha State Road Transport Corporation) announced its Luxury bus service inaugurated by CM Naveen Patnaik.
Latter I have suggested bus name as Mahanadi, Baitarani, Konark, Deomali etc. Still waiting for the update.

In line with the 1st idea, another idea evolved in my mind, a luxury bus service would be more sparkling if those buses will run from a high-tech bus terminal. During that time, there was scarcity of area for bus parking in the designated bus parking area of Baramunda, Bhubaneswar. So, a multi storied bus parking would be a smart project as well as it will eliminate the overcrowd area problem. That idea was communicated to then Urban development minister Mr. Pushpendra Singh Deo. My suggestion the put in social media in late 2016, though did not got any respond for that; but today in 2018 that thing come to reality: even on a bigger scale.

Once I was watching ‘Khola Katha’; an Odia television talk show. In one episode, I found that the uniform/dress code (Saree), followed by the primary education school teachers, has been changing frequently as wish-choice-likeness of the secretary in charge of education department. This was not the reason that dress code was implemented. What could be done alternatively: A permanent solution which might have close touch with the people’s feeling and that should signify something : nothing can be a better option than Sambalpuri Saree as school teacher’s uniform. Again, this will increase the sale of saree, the weavers will be the primary beneficiary, a win-win situation for all. I put this thought in mid-2017, suddenly it came to reality in early January 2018.
I work in engineering division in the field of project feasibility and costing. I have never been a supporter of over ambitious projects. The return of investment is always a vital point rather being a non-performing asset. During invest Odisha submit in Nov 2016 many hyper investments came, apparently on paper investment from different business units. I proposed, why should not we come with a shopping mall operated by state commerce department; shop will be of Pipili applique, Raghurajpur Pattachita, Sand Stone statue, Odisha Ikat, Tarakasi silver Filigree work from Cuttack, sweets and cakes of Odisha; in short ‘Mall of Odisha’. Recently I saw GoO going from a craft museum for this, don’t know whether they are going for a shop or not.
