Stand Shift

Disagreement, intellectualism has became a scale of measurement of someone’s level of expertise; another way, everyone has all science of reasoning and weapons of word that he or she can exhibit anything, which apparently suits with the person’s state of vision, thoughts or ideology. It just reminds me one line of  Mahabharat, when Shri  Kriskna tells Arjun that "I can prove anything wrong, I can prove anything right, I can destroy anything and I can create anything."

In this series of alteration, few like me are in total ambiguity about what is correct and what is not. I usually keep shifting my stand on a very perceptible matter. One party will defend it and the other will stand against it, irony is that both seem right on their separate stand. Sometimes those topic do not really require any parley, they just starts- goes on - and ends, but we keep crushing ourselves for long.

When Government declared to confer Sachin Tendulkar with Bharat Ratna, I though it is a great idea to give the highest civilian award to a spots person. Most welcomed that matter, and it was a great deal of happiness for us. It seems all right, I took my firm stand with the decision, but no, another part came to stand against this. Cricket is not our national game, game is Hockey. We had not considered Major Dhyan Chand for that. Major's contribution to the national game is on mountaintop and in his era India bagged gold medal in Olympic. Major was indeed a true leader. I shifted my stand suddenly; discard with the agreement I had earlier with Sachin and supported for Dhaynchand.

It is not only in case of any general issue like odd-even car, it is in case of patriotism, nationalism, few times on doltish topic like whether some one’s movie is to be watched or not, Dhoni should bat or keep or a baby’s name should be like that or this. One camp will completely draw a logical line supporting the issue and other alliance will oppose it drawing a line exact parallel to the earlier, there is no plausible of concurrent opinion. Look at the case of National anthem in Cinema Theater, the apex court has ordered “All Indians will now compulsorily have to stand up and listen to the National Anthem before they can watch a movie in a theater.” It gave me a sense of pride and high spirit, but no, the debate started on the name freedom to choose, old man, specially challenged and what not. Though earlier I had taken stand in favor, now I differ on humanitarian ground. Again shift of stand.

On university issue, there is a debate of nationalism one side and freedom of speech, sedition, human rights, imposed ideology on other side. One part is of high profile verified Twitterites while other side is of facades. Starting from ‘Student scholarship’ to ‘who is responsible’, the topic has transitioned through such higgledy-piggledy manner, many of us now still drawing interpretation or perspective.

Every good or bad matter and opinion has many divergent views. Where are we moving ? A state of verbal war, Haterism or a self declared prodigy. I am sure, when it comes to take decision, most of them can't measure salt in their food, why they are pretending so. I left all, became selfish, and started believing, let the thing happen.
